With all of the electronic media gadgets around my house, I would have to say that I am pretty well stocked up. I have everything I need to stay connected to the internet and all it has to offer. My electronic media tool belt is as important to me becoming a successful writer as Batman's utility belt was to him being a superhero.
My most used gadget is my iPhone. It is also the most versatile of all my devices.  It can do almost all of the things that each of my other devices can do on their own. The main thing I use my iPhone for is to stay in touch with my family and friends. I can update my blog and Facebook right from the palm of my hand using it. I also use it as my portable music device and electronic book store as well. These of course are only a few of the uses of the my mighty iPhone.
The next most used gadget of mine is definitely my laptop. It may not get used as much as my iPhone, but it is by far more important. While I am at college, my laptop serves as my base of operations. I do almost 90% of my writing on it. I  can use it to stay in touch with family and friends. It also serves as a great device for promoting my work and entertaining myself. My laptop is my ultimate device.
My Xbox 360 and television are a combo of gadgets used almost entirely for my entertainment. They may not be the most used or most important gadgets, but they are my favorite. Since I currently do not have cable. I rely on my Xbox 360 and television to provide me with Netflix and to play DVDs for my viewing pleasure. I also us this duo to stream music and most importantly play video games. Without these two devices, I might go crazy from all the books I read and homework I have to do during my time at college.
The Last few gadgets of mine are of lesser use to me than their predecessors on this list. I have an iPod touch that is hardly used anymore, now that I have an iPhone. I also have an alarm clock that doubles as a radio. It is definitely useful in waking me up and if I'm feeling old fashioned to even listen to music. Rounding out my collection of gadgets are flash drives. Those little fellows help me to store and transport all of my writings and music. With all of these gadgets in my tool belt, I am pretty positive that I have what I need to become a successful writer in this age of new media.
